Our team have extensive contacts in both Thailand and Ireland, allowing the company access across many sectors.
Akarat is the founder of Thairish Distributors, holding a Bachelor of Engineering (Instrumentation Engineering); B.Eng. from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology in Bangkok. With an extensive background in Thai business, Akarat founded and continues to own several successful companies in the kingdom. Aside from his import / export interests, his engineering company supplies and distributes precision measuring instruments for specialist industrial plants, the automation sector and general industries throughout the country. In addition Akarat’s company provides manpower and staffing contracts across several sectors. He brings a wealth of local knowledge and expertise to the organization.
Akarat Phuttaruksa
Co-Founder and a fifteen year veteran of Thailand, Daragh has over 30 years’ experience in business and has sat on the board of several Irish and Thai companies, ranging from logistics to property development. A former Group Managing Director of Roadtrain Ltd, one of Ireland's oldest running distribution firms. In addition to this, Daragh is Treasurer of St. Patrick's Society, Bangkok, the oldest running Irish non-profit organization in Thailand which has been in operation since 1962.

Daragh Connolly
A graduate in Business Marketing from DPU in Bangkok & with a Masters in Business Administration (Marketing) from Ramkhamhaeng University, Patitta has over 20 years’ experience in artistic and creative pursuits, ranging from Hair Studio’s to Bag Spa’s. She is also Founder, Owner and Technical Director of Hyper Studio Co. Ltd, a specialist restoration company with branches around Asia and the Middle East.
Patitta Koumkong
Currently President of the St. Patrick's Society in Bangkok, Robert has over 40 years’ experience working and teaching in the Hospitality and Food & Beverage Industry. With a BA in Education and a Masters in Education & Tourism, he held the position as Head of Department of Hospitality & Culinary Arts at GMIT for 20 years as well as Culinary Lecturer in the same college for 10 years. Robert has been involved in many different sectors during his time in Thailand, he was part of the ‘Train the Trainer program’ as well as accumulating a wealth of experience in the Import & Export trade from Asia. Along with his Presidency of St. Patrick’s, Robert was also President of the Irish Archery Association and is a member of Euro Torques and Panel of Chefs of Ireland.

Jarunee, aka Dr. Eve, is co-founder of Thairish Distributors. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, D.V.M from Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Eve has extensive experience in the veterinary industry having founded and continues to run the Pet Clinics in Central Thailand.

Jidapa is a Sales Executive with CIW, managing our presence at events, functions and online marketing. Studying for a Degree in Multimedia & Business Marketing, she has been involved with the company, through apprenticeship, since its beginning. Jidapa has a wealth of knowledge in her field and brings youth and energy to our sales department
